This was really easy and really good! I accidentally used waayyyy too much rosemary, nevertheless it has been a fantastic thing to eat when you could have a sinus cold, and simple to prepare!
If you want extra broth in soup, maybe add an additional cup or so. Thank you for this recipe, however I actually wish it didn’t specifically reference Trader Joe’s for the cous cous! I purchased the only cous cous I’ve ever discovered at my dealer Joe’s, and it’s means too tiny. I didn’t even think to google a picture of pearled cous cous as a result of I was relying a lot on the fact that Trader Joe’s was mentioned. Needless to say, the soup is full of super small couscous and by no means what I anticipated.
And yes be at liberty to add a bit extra broth next time. This recipe deserves the high scores.
I added kale with the peas on the end since we had some from our local produce share. I like soup to not have extra broth, so I didn’t add any further past the 6 cups & it had of a stew-like consistency with lots of stuff in every spoonful.
Colorful greens brighten our satisfying brothy soup. I followed the elements to the letter. I was truly in a resort room after I made it and used my prompt pot because the pot and heat source- I did not deliver the recipe to pressure. Seriously the BEST rooster soup I’ve ever made!
I added some leftover matza balls from Passover. I appreciated this so much I’m going to make use of it, minus the couscous as my base for matza ball soup subsequent Passover. Hi, how long did you precook the hen and the way long did you cook the veggies? I never trim the additional fats from my thighs, and all of it disappears, so should you ever don’t have time to trim it or don’t wish to, know that it comes out properly anyway.

I made this final evening and the whole household requested that it turn out to be a staple. It’s crazy how such a simple recipe can make one thing so scrumptious!
This is one of the best soups I’ve ever tried. My husband (who isn’t a soup fan) loved it too. Fabulous that is the most effective ever chicken soup. I seen that in step three you instruct the reader to convey the soup to a boil after we added the rooster breast in step 2.
Chicken & Sweetcorn Soup
Is there any method to treatment using way too many spices? So I Followed the recipe exactly, possibly even cooked a little longer, but when I took the rooster out to shred I observed the center was still pink somewhat. Have you ever experienced this in boiling the chicken? I’m wondering if that’s safe to eat.
